Founded in 1988, Economy is Celebrating 30 Years of Chicago Roofing Excellence

2018 marked the 30th anniversary of the year that Salvador Pedroza founded Economy Roofing, a small roof repair company that has since evolved into a top Chicago roofing contractor.

Our humble beginnings trace back to the mid 1980's when Salvador Pedroza, a meat butcher at the time, and his brother started mopping hot-tar from their home-made kettle on Chicago flat roofs for a couple hundred dollars. From this small-time job grew a passion and from this passion grew a career, and in 1988, Economy Roofing was born.

Today, our track-record encompasses thousands of roofs throughout the Chicago area, from large-scale replacement projects to on-going maintenance plans. While our team and capabilities have surely grown, our values and commitment to roofing excellence remain stronger than ever.
